How I collect, use and protect your personal information

Last updated: November 2026

Your privacy is important to me. This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use this website or contact me about podiatry services, how I use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.

Who I Am

Sole Solutions Podiatry is a sole trader mobile podiatry service operating in Tameside, Greater Manchester. I am the data controller for the personal information you provide. You can contact me at solesolutionspodiatry.uk@gmail.com or by calling 07859 893205.

What Information I Collect

When you complete the enquiry form on this website, I collect your name, email address, phone number, and details of the service you are enquiring about. I may also collect any additional information you choose to include in your message. I do not collect sensitive health information through this website — clinical records are kept separately and securely.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you book an appointment, to provide podiatry services to you. I will not use your details for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and I will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own use.

Legal Basis for Processing

I process your personal information on the basis of your consent (when you submit the enquiry form) and, where applicable, to fulfil a contract with you (when providing podiatry services). For clinical records, I process information on the basis of legitimate interests in providing safe and effective healthcare.

How Long I Keep Your Information

General enquiries that do not lead to treatment are normally retained for up to 12 months after the enquiry is closed, then securely deleted. Adult clinical records are normally retained for at least eight years after the end of treatment or your last appointment. Children’s clinical records are normally retained until their 25th birthday, or their 26th birthday if they were 17 when treatment ended. Records may be retained longer where necessary to meet legal or insurance requirements, or to deal with a complaint or claim. Records are reviewed before disposal and securely deleted or destroyed when no longer required.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal information I hold about you, request corrections, ask me to delete it (where no legal obligation requires me to keep it), object to processing, and request that I restrict how I use it. To exercise any of these rights, please contact me at solesolutionspodiatry.uk@gmail.com.

Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies necessary for the site to function. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

This website is hosted by GoDaddy. Enquiry form submissions are processed securely. I do not use third-party analytics or advertising services that collect your personal data.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how I handle your personal information, please contact me in the first instance. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
